Hi Tunees,
We’ve collected some of the most common questions about credits, daily refresh credits, subscriptions, billing, refunds, and account management in one place. If you’re not sure how your credits are issued, used, refreshed, or refunded, this guide should help.
1. How do Credits work in Tunee?
Regular conversations are completely free and don’t consume any credits.
Music creation: Credits power the entire music creation workflow, including:
• File analysis and task processing
• Music composition planning
• Lyrics generation
• Web search and research
• Final music generation
Music video (MV) creation: Credit usage depends on:
• Number of keyframes generated
• Generation attempts and iterations
• Final MV generation
Credit consumption factors:
• Length and complexity of your input
• Size of uploaded files
• Number of conversation rounds
• Context depth and history
Simple rule: More complex tasks and richer content require more credits.
2. How many videos can I make with my credits?
The number of videos you can create depends on the model you choose, the video length, and the type of generation task.
For video generation, credits are usually calculated by duration. Different video models may have different credit ranges:
For example, if you generate a 15-second clip:
- Seedance 2.0 may cost about 150–300 credits
- Seedance 2.0 Fast may cost about 120–240 credits
- Seedance 2.0 Mini may cost about 90–180 credits
So the exact number of videos you can make depends on your available credit balance and the model settings you choose.
You can always check the estimated credit cost in the Model panel before generation. After generation, you can also view the detailed credit breakdown from your workspace or credit usage history.
3. How can I check my credit usage?
When you generate a song or video, look at the top-right corner of your workspace — you’ll see a “Detail” button. Hover over it, and a dropdown menu will appear showing a step-by-step breakdown of your credit usage.
4.Do Credits expire? How can I check which credits are about to expire?
• Daily Credits: Automatically issued every day. Valid for 1 day only, do not carry over. Not tied to membership status.
• Event Credits: Granted through promotional events. Typically valid for 30 days (refer to specific event terms). Not tied to membership status.
• Membership Credits: Automatically issued monthly upon subscribing to a paid plan. Valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Remaining Membership Credits are forfeited upon membership expiration or refund.
• Top-up Credits: Purchased by paid subscribers. Valid for 360 days from the date of purchase. Not tied to membership status.
Credits cannot be exchanged for subscription time, transferred to other accounts, or cashed out.
f you’d like to check your credit balance and view upcoming credit expiration reminders, please follow the steps below.
Steps:
Once opened, you can also scroll down to view a detailed breakdown of your credit history, including bonus credits, daily refreshes, and expired credits.
The credit expiration reminder does not include daily login bonus credits. Only bonus or purchased credits that are set to expire will be counted in this reminder.
5. What should I do if my daily credits have not refreshed?
Please try the following:
- Make sure you are logged in to your Tunee account.
- Refresh the page to trigger the daily credit distribution.
- Check your credit balance again after a short delay.
Credit refresh may sometimes experience slight delays. Also,
credits that are close to expiration are consumed first, so your daily credits may have already been used during a task.
If you still believe your credits were not issued correctly, please contact us support@tunee.ai and we’ll help check your account.
6. Why have my daily reward credits decreased?
We may adjust daily reward credit allocations based on region and resource availability.
AI music and video generation can be costly to maintain, so we need to balance free access with long-term platform sustainability. We understand this may not be ideal for everyone, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue improving the Tunee experience.
7. How can I get more credits? Can I buy credits individually?
Subscribe to a paid plan or upgrade your current plan
Paid plans include more credits and access to additional Tunee features. If you need more credits regularly, upgrading your subscription is the best option.
Tunee supports individual credit purchases. You can purchase extra credits when you need more credits without changing your subscription plan.
Tunee may occasionally launch community events where free credits are available as rewards. Please follow our official community updates for the latest event information.
8. Will failed generations or retry clips consume credits?
Tunee does not deduct credits for failed generations. You can check this in the credit usage details in the top-right corner of the interface. If a generation fails, you should not see a credit deduction record for that failed attempt.
For retry clips, if the retry successfully generates a new result, it may be treated as a new generation task and may consume credits based on the selected model and generation settings.
If you believe your credits were incorrectly deducted due to a system issue, please share your project link and account email with us support@tunee.ai so we can review the case.
10. How will upgrading my subscription affect my credits and billing?
When you upgrade your membership on the web, the billing and credits will be handled as follows:
- You only pay the price difference
You do not need to pay the full price of the new plan. You only need to pay the difference between your current plan and the upgraded plan. - You receive the upgraded plan credits immediately
Once the payment is completed, the membership credits included in the upgraded plan will be added to your account right away. - Your renewal date will be updated
Your next renewal date will be recalculated based on the date you upgraded.
Example:
If you subscribed to the Basic monthly plan on the 1st of this month and upgraded to the Plus monthly plan on the 15th, you will only pay the $20 price difference. After payment, you will immediately receive 2,200 credits from the Plus plan. Your next renewal for the Plus plan will be on the 15th of the following month.
11. How can I cancel my subscription?
Step-by-step Guide
On the Subscription Info page, please review carefully:
- Whether Next billing date is shown
- Whether the Cancel renewal button is still visible
Important
If the Cancel renewal button is visible, it means:
Your subscription is still active
It will renew automatically at the next billing cycle
This page indicates that auto-renewal has been successfully canceled.
The displayed date shows when your current subscription period ends.
You will continue to enjoy your membership benefits until that time.
12. What should I do if I was charged twice or charged incorrectly?
If you believe you were charged more than once, please contact us with the following information:
- your Tunee account email
- payment date
- invoice or receipt, if available
- screenshots showing the repeated charge
- a short description of what happened
Our team will check the payment record and help resolve the issue.
For other payment issues, such as failed payments, missing credits after payment, invoice problems, or unclear billing records, you can also contact us with your registered account email, payment screenshots, and a brief description of the issue.
13. I used a lot of credits but didn’t get the result I wanted. Can I get a refund?
Generally, no. Credits are digital virtual services and are usually non-refundable once they have been topped up or consumed.
Using a large number of credits, or not getting the exact result you expected, does not automatically qualify for a refund. AI-generated results may vary depending on your prompt, selected model, input materials, and generation settings.
However, if your credits were lost due to a confirmed system crash, server error, failed generation, or technical fault on Tunee’s side, you can contact us for review.
When contacting support, please include:
- Your Tunee account email
- The project link
- Screenshots of the issue, if available
- A short description of what happened
Our team will review the case. If we confirm that the issue was caused by a platform error, we may provide appropriate credit compensation or another suitable solution.
