Subject: UX Improvement Suggestion: Prevent Accidental Data Loss from “Restore Original Lyrics” Button
Dear Tunee.ai Support/Development Team,
I am a frequent user of Tunee.ai and I truly appreciate the powerful features your platform provides for music creation. However, I am writing to report a significant User Experience (UX) issue regarding the “Restore Original Lyrics” (原始歌詞) button.
Currently, the button is placed very close to the lyric editing area. This positioning has repeatedly caused the following problems for me:
Frequent Accidental Triggers: While I am focused on meticulously editing and refining my lyrics, I often accidentally tap/click this button.
Instant Data Loss: Once clicked, the system immediately reverts all my hard work back to the original AI-generated version without any warning.
Wasted Time: As a creator, losing several minutes (or even hours) of creative effort in a single second is extremely frustrating and significantly hinders my productivity.
To improve this, I would like to suggest two possible solutions:
Option A (Repositioning): Move the “Restore Original Lyrics” button further away from the main text box or the “Apply” button to reduce the risk of misclicks.
Option B (Confirmation Prompt): Add a pop-up confirmation dialog when the button is clicked (e.g., “Are you sure you want to restore the original lyrics? Your current edits will be lost.”).
I believe this small change would greatly enhance the user experience for many creators who spend a lot of time manual-editing their lyrics. Thank you for your hard work and for considering my feedback.
Best regards,
[Jingchao Lin]
Thanks for taking the time to write this up so clearly — clear problem, two thoughtful solutions, exactly the kind of feedback that’s easy for a product team to act on.
A few honest thoughts:
The “Restore Original Lyrics” feature itself works as intended — it’s there for users who want a one-tap way to roll back to the AI’s first draft. So we wouldn’t want to remove or relocate it too dramatically.
That said, your suggestion on adding a confirmation step is genuinely worth considering — it’s a thoughtful direction that could benefit a lot of users down the line, and we’ll give it serious thought.
Forwarded to the product team — your post will go into the actual feedback queue, not just sit in a thread. The clearer the writeup, the better its chance of getting picked up, and yours is very clear.
As a small thank-you for the level of detail here, we’ll add some bonus credits to your account on our side.
Keep the feedback coming — Tunee gets sharper because of users like you~~
yea,great suggestion.
