About Negative Prompts (e.g., "no drums") and Credit Usage

Hello Tunee Community and Developers,

I have a question regarding the use of negative prompts.

I am trying to generate tracks without specific instruments. For example, I often use prompts like “no drums” or “no percussion” when making a request.

My current experience is that the chat assistant will acknowledge this request (e.g., it will say, “Okay, I will create a track with no drums or percussion”). However, after the track is generated, it very often still contains the drums and percussion I specifically asked to exclude.

This is causing two main issues:

  1. Frustration: The generated track doesn’t match my request, even after the AI confirmed it.

  2. Financial Impact: Every time I have to ask Tunee to “remake” the track because it failed to follow the negative prompt, it consumes more of my credits. This means I am spending credits (and therefore money) on multiple failed attempts to get a track that should have been correct the first time. This is not a positive user experience.

Could you please clarify:

  • Does the Tunee system officially support negative prompts (like “no drums,” “without percussion,” etc.)?

  • If it does, what is the correct syntax or the best way to phrase these requests to ensure they are followed accurately?

  • If this feature isn’t fully supported yet, is this a known issue that the team is working on?

Thank you for any help or clarification you can provide.

Best regards,

Massimo

Hello. The negative prompt feature is currently under active development, and we anticipate it will be available in an upcoming release. For the time being, the system may not be able to generate outputs with fewer instruments. hope this information is helpful.
