Why can I only download 1 certificate on my basic account? I have created at least 40 tracks, and I need the certificates for my records.

Thanks for your question — we’d be happy to clarify how copyright certificates work on Tunee.
For tracks generated under the Free plan, copyright and ownership are not automatically included. To obtain a copyright certificate for those tracks, you can either:
- Purchase a single-track copyright certificate, or
- Upgrade to a paid subscription plan.
As a Basic plan subscriber, you receive a monthly allowance of 1 copyright certificate, which can be used to claim ownership for one track created under the Free plan before you subscribed. This is why you’re currently able to download only one certificate, even if you’ve created many tracks.
Please note that this allowance applies only to tracks generated before subscribing. Any tracks you generate after you subscribe are automatically yours and do not require an additional copyright certificate.
If you need certificates for more tracks created before subscribing, you can either wait for the next monthly allowance, upgrade your plan, or purchase single-track certificates as needed.
We hope this helps clarify the policy. If you have any further questions, feel free to let us know!
Something you might want to look into - I think for about $65 you can file for copyrights on up to 10 songs at a time electronically on the US Copyright Office site. (There’s lyrics, music, and songs. Might be slightly different for each one.)
