Needed changes / features to allow Tunee to survive and be used by music professionals

My observations, and rquests, to enable Tunee to be adopted by music composers (like myself) and make it the highest rated, and widely used AI music production software. There are way too many system errors when clear instruction requests are provided to modify an existing song version generated, and credits are deducted. I have spent hours and days’ worth of credits trying to get Tunee to make modifications to an existing great song it created, but it almost NEVER creates what is requested, but instead either creates inferior versions or entirely different and less interesting versions, that ignore instructions. The “Send to Chat” function just does not work when trying to refine an existing version. Tunee correctly mirrors what you ask it to do, so the logic exists perfectly in the conversation screen, but it is incapable of executing the instructions that it mirrors back. It is frustrating beyond words. And it also ignores instructions to keep existing lyrics, or use specific lyrics that are uploaded into the conversation thread. When it generates versions by itself (whether you like them or not), it seems to work fine, but if you attempt to interact with it to refine something that was already generated, it fails miserably. Fix these issues, so it retains a selected song version build, so it can be refined, and you’ll keep me (and I expect countless other customers) from moving on and looking elsewhere.

Hi, I’m Uriel, from Mexico. What you say is true. This is a very new technology. I’m sure they’ll gradually improve many details. I’ve noticed that providing an audio file, which can even be a whistle, and if you can, provide the Tunee chat with a recording of you singing the song a cappella, and I’m sure you can improve the results. Have you tried it yet?

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

As a small team, we truly value every piece of feedback and suggestion from our users, and we take all of them seriously.

Our development team is actively exploring better solutions to improve stability and provide a smoother experience for everyone.

We will continue optimizing Tunee and rolling out powerful new features — including voice cloning and audio stem separation. Our goal is to bring the quality of stem separation to a level comparable to Logic by December, so that more users can enjoy a truly professional experience.

We also genuinely welcome your suggestions. Tunee is growing step by step, and we hope to become a music-creation platform that everyone loves.

Thank you for your support!

I have been actively using Tunee for the past 2 weeks, and already can see a lot of improvements in the results. Befor it took me around 10 tries before reasobly acceptable result, but now, I get great results within the 2nd or 3rd generation. It’s all about providing a very detailed prompt to the chat. The more detail in the first prompt, then you’ll get 80% there. Provide a reference file for even better results. My prompts are normally about 800 to 900 characters at a minimum.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Cutting up the song (removing the areas I was not happy with), yielded better results than fully reusing (or referencing) the initial version (which gave all the frustrations you mentioned… I tried very explicitly mentioning time-areas to alter them with very detailed instructions with no success). For reference tracks I have the impression that less is more.

I have been having the same issues. The platform producing my music is totally unreliable results. Songs I did not ask for. I type it what I want it shows it understands my commands but then produces something else. Not even close to what I asked for. I have to agree the platform needs to be fixed. When it finally works the results are awesome. But it’s extremely frustrating using up tons of my credits because I keep trying over and over and over. With failure after failure. I’m a a professional composer and lyricist and typically use my own lyrics to make backups. please fix this. Otherwise I will be forced to leave this platform. Fix this and you will have one of the most powerful music generation platforms and a life long customer.
Also add the ability to use my own voice in a song or record my singing voice and use it as a digital replacement for the ones created in the songs

I have the same issues as this gentleman which I’m pasting here below

I think the line that’s most important line here is it mirrors the instructions I give it perfectly but fails to generate the results. I’m one of those customers. Larry Read

According to the results of my songwriting so far, Tunee Ai is quite good, the only problem that I often get or find is that Tunee Ai often doesn’t maintain the articulation and intonation of the vocal pronunciation in the original song lyrics.

Every project that I create using Tunee starts with an uploaded audio file. Sometimes it is a simple song demo with guitar and vocals, sometimes a full band demo, and sometimes just a basic idea. 99% of the sound files I upload also include lyrics. I direct Tunee to copy (and sometimes extend) the uploaded song demo, and based on instructions create a prodution type, identifying the key instruments, arrangement workflow, type of vocal style, and type of music overall. I never include any request that in any way suggests or mirrors any existing performers or any other non-original elements that are not mine, and mine solely. All of the sound samples I upload are my own copyrighted material. When I first started using Tunee a month ago, I was astounded at how good some of the versions it created were. But as time has progressed, the performance and accuracy of the song versions created have degraded to about 20-30% accuracy compared to a month ago. Very disappointed with my overall experience, even though the good results I have gotten encourage me to keep going. Have you used SunoAI prior to Tunee? Tunee is my first experience working with AI music generation software.
