Here are my thoughts about tunee not be controled through
big music companies in the future …
A few years ago i started with UDIO, and it had the very very best
soundquality by far (broadcast qualitiy). The best i have ever heared,
and it’s still the best but …
Then came Universal Music and froced them into a “deal” (i would
call it a mafia-deal that you cannot refuse).
And after that UDIO became useless (no song-download, no commercial
rights). And in the future the will become a “closed platform”, that means,
you can only publish your created songs on ther platform for other users
and Universal will keep all rights (and maybe make money wtih it).
So UDIO is dead.
At this time SUNO had the V3.5 model and the soundquality was very bad
with all that artefacts in the sounds - especially the vocals.
Now with V5 the became better, but the vocals are still with artefacts,
sometimes it sounds like listening to a shortwave radio station.
You can try to create the same song 10 times or more and have luck with
better vocals, but it’s music-roulette …
To be short : Eleven Labs has a good quality but it’s by far to expensive !
Then i discovered producer.ai (formerly known as riffusion). Quite good
quality, but again here the vocals have a very annoying artefact in high
frequencies that you cannot filter (even with expensive FFT-Filters).
At the end i discovered tunee and is was great !
Sound quality very very close to UDIO !
After the had to change the sound-models because of copyright-issues,
the sound quality was not as good as before but still better than SUNO
or producer.ai …
With the new models ACE 1.5 and Mureka 8 tunee is again very close
to UDIO, the vocals are clear and without artefacts.
And as i know they are working hard to bring fetaures back and improve
everything (which includes audio quality) i will stay with tunee …
And as far as i know, tunee is a chinese company, so if the music-mafia
will force you into a “deal”, please kick them in the … and make a laugh
