Songs cut off just as they should be going into the outro

Hi,

i’ve cooked a few songs in Tunee using my original lyrics.

i must say that the results have been amazing. the choice of male/female voices has been spot on, etc.

However, just as the song should be finishing with the ending, it cuts off.

Why is this happening? i don’t think i’m out of credits.

if being out of credits is the issue, wouldn’t it give me a warning instead of ruining an otherwise amazing song?

any help will be appreciated.

thanks,

Philip

Hi Philip, thank you for your kind words and for bringing this ending cutoff issue to our attention; we understand how frustrating it is to have an otherwise amazing song cut off prematurely, and our team is already looking into this for you.

Hey Philip — glad the results have been impressive overall! The early cutoff is a known issue, not a credits problem. Credits aren’t the cause here, and yes, you’d get a clear message if you ran out.

What’s happening is the model sometimes detects a natural resolution point slightly earlier than the intended end of the song. See our FAQ for a fuller explanation: Why does my song sometimes end early?

A practical workaround in the meantime: add a brief outro or fade-out instruction directly in your prompt — something like “end with a gentle instrumental fade-out over 8 bars.” Giving the model an explicit structural cue for the ending tends to help it reach the full length more consistently.

Thanks for sharing the audio file, Philip — and glad the team already has eyes on this.

The cutoff you’re hearing isn’t a credits issue. The model can sometimes detect what it thinks is a natural resolution point a bit earlier than intended, clipping the outro. It’s a known limitation the team is actively working on.

Workaround you can try in the meantime: add an explicit ending instruction in your prompt — something like “end with a slow instrumental fade-out over 8 bars” or “include a full outro section before fading out.” Giving the model a clear structural cue for the ending tends to help it reach the full length more reliably.

The team has your file and is investigating. We’ll follow up here once there’s an update — appreciate your patience, Philip!
