Big problem with Tunee charging users credits, then continuously failing with error codes, and credits are lost!

Almost every time I attempt to change or modify an existing song generation, I get charged the credits for the request, while Tunee is working, and then when it fails (over 50% of the time), it displays some type of error message. I then request a technical report be written which I submit to the development team, but my credits are lost, unless I get reimbursed down the line days later (if at all). This is SO FRUSTRATING! This is not only poor policy but something that could be changed for everyone. Tunee should deduct credits AFTER a request is completed successfully, and not before generating system errors. So once a request is fulfilled (whether you like the result or not), at least you get new versions, and credits are deducted. The way it works now, the credits are deducted, and then the error appears in the chat window, and you are out of luck. Please change this billing methodogy as soon as possible!

as wrote in another post. this is how you need to fight with tunee,

Agreed, lost credits for 3 seconds of music. Twice, plus planning etc credits lost. Sent a report no feeback at all,

On 30th November I was very happy to see 6 or 8 stem downloads, available,

Yet today, 2 days later this is only for premium users.

So disappointed … even at 17 credits or whatever, I did manage to download 1 instrumental song. And 3 stems were vocal, one piano. Which I had none, but at least got a seperate GUITAR STEM

Very hard to get these days.

But i lose credits every day, and the ai says i can see your frustration ……

Does not help, or what ai, thinks, if you dont get any music…:tomato::tomato::tomato::tomato: rotten tomatoes :tomato::tomato::tomato:

I’ve raised these exact issues in my past posts. It’s incredibly frustrating: I give very precise prompts for modifications, and the AI appears to understand exactly what needs to be changed. However, when the generation finishes, it has completely ignored my instructions and produced something I didn’t want. The worst part is that my credits are gone. We should not be losing credits for failed attempts or when the AI refuses to follow clear instructions.

I’ve been using Tunee as a basic subscriber for 1 month. When I first started, the song creation accuracy was quite good, no system errors, and the versions created were at least based on my uploaded song demos, and the instructions were pretty much followed. As time progressed, and new features were added, the problems started increasing, and now 4 weeks into working with Tunee, about 80% of the time the instructions provided, and confirmed by Tunee are not executed. I either get system errors, time-outs, or complete abandonment of the instructions with worthless song examples being generated. I’ve even asked Tunee to design a prompt to use to fix certain issues, some very minor, and the results are also worthless. I then ask Tunee to generate an error report, which I include when I send the support team a problem report, and ask for my credits to be restored. Almost nothing happens in response. I lose days and days worth of credits, and hours. If they don’t fix these major issues pretty quickly (like in the next month), they will lose me as a customer, and likely many others. Sometimes Tunee generates a great result, especially when it happens on the first generation, but trying to get it to modify anything is a world of frustration. Have you used SunoAI? I am thinking of trying Suno out if Tunee keeps going on creating bad versions, not executing instructions that are clear and concise and confirmed by the conversation engine. The frustration is getting much greater than the results. I think they have a small staff of engineers, and are overwhelmed, and cannot timely address the issues reported, and certainly they need to not take credits away from users who experience system and generation issues, and complete worthless results that don’t match instructions.

I don’t know what has happened to Tunee, but it has become more unpredictable, makes more mistakes, insists on “arguing” in the dialogue box, doesn’t follow prompts at all, and adds elements that were clearly negatively prompted. It feels like total chaos right now.

I had similar experience. But moreover, I have also lost credits several times (i would say at least 1 out of 4 attempts), when I was asking to generate all 3 AI suggestions and, although it finally generates just 1 of them, it takes credits for all 3! each time I report the issue, and each time all i get is a vague polite email, but never a credit refund so far… (although is 100% their fault). That’s really frustrating and unnecessary

We completely understand your concerns and confusion, and we truly appreciate your patience. We would like to clarify that Tunee’s credit deduction system usually has a 2–15 minute delay. This means that when credits are consumed, it may take a few minutes before the deduction record appears in your account. This is not an incorrect deduction, but rather a system characteristic that can sometimes make it appear as though extra credits were deducted. When checking your credit usage history, we sincerely recommend refreshing the page a few times to view the most up-to-date records.

Secondly, regarding the current credit deduction logic, we shared a questionnaire in our “What’s New” update three weeks ago to collect user opinions on this system. We are happy to let you know that our team is already actively rebuilding and improving the credit deduction mechanism. In the future, we will introduce a pre-deduction model: if the final result of a generation fails within a conversation, all the earlier steps in that conversation will not deduct any credits. Since this is a system-level upgrade, our development team is working hard on it, and it will still take some time before it officially goes live. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and support during this process.

If you believe there is any abnormal credit deduction on a specific project, please feel free to send us your project link. After we investigate the case, we will provide appropriate credit compensation accordingly.

To deliver a better and smoother music creation experience, we will continue to listen carefully to your feedback and improve our product step by step. Thank you so much for your continued support of Tunee — we always welcome your valuable suggestions and ideas. :yellow_heart:
