If copyright issues are a core reason for the recent changes, Tunee should be specific about what exactly the copyright concern is (input audio, output similarity, training data, or distribution). A general reference to “copyright issues” is too vague to be meaningful or actionable.
Also, if there are financial or cost-related constraints behind these changes, it would be far more constructive to be open about them. This is a user-driven platform, and transparency would allow the community to discuss the issues openly and potentially help identify workable solutions.
The previous workflow—uploading a clip and generating music that actually followed it—was the main value of Tunee. Removing that without clear explanation leaves users guessing.
Clarity and openness would go a long way.
