Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share feedback here on the forum. We’ve carefully reviewed the discussions following the December 31 update, and we want you to know that your voices are being heard.
We understand that some users have experienced changes in generation quality and creative consistency after this update. We also recognize that certain feature adjustments — including the temporary removal of the cover feature — have caused frustration and disappointment. And we recognize that its absence may make Tunee feel difficult to continue using at this moment. It’s completely understandable that this has led some users to reconsider their subscriptions.
We want to be open about one thing: this update and the decisions behind it were not easy for our team. This has been a very challenging period for us as well. Due to copyright, compliance, and system stability considerations, we had to make these changes. What we can say is that none of these decisions were made lightly.
What we want to emphasize most is this: this is a period of transition, not the end of Tunee’s direction.
Tunee’s long-term vision remains unchanged. Our goal is to be a reliable partner for creators on their path to success, helping make creation simpler, more efficient, and more sustainable. While this transitional period may feel challenging or uncomfortable, it is a necessary step toward creating a more stable and sustainable foundation for the future.
All feedback shared in this forum — critical or supportive — is being actively reviewed by our product and operation teams. Your voices matter deeply, and this community continues to play an important role in shaping what Tunee becomes next.
We fully understand that some users may choose to step away during this time, and we respect that decision. For those who choose to stay with us through this period, please know that we are committed to improving the experience with care, transparency, and respect for creators.
As we move into the new year, we sincerely wish every creator inspiration, growth, and success in your creative journey. Thank you for being part of the Tunee community and continuing to speak openly with us.
Wishing you a Happy New Year.
2026.1.1
We want to clarify one important technical point. The cover feature was built on a core capability that preserves the original melody while modifying other elements such as lyrics and arrangement. Because this underlying technology had to be taken offline, that capability is currently unavailable across the board. As a result, even original demos created by users are temporarily unable to use melody-preserving lyric edits.
We understand how frustrating this feels, especially for creators working on their own original music. Our ideal direction — and what the team is actively working toward — is to clearly distinguish between user-created original music and externally copyrighted material, and to allow users to perform melody-preserving edits on their own works. This is something we’re actively developing and accelerating internally.
That said, we want to be honest: while we are working hard on this, we can’t promise a version rollback, and we also can’t commit to a specific timeline or date right now. Some of the constraints we’re dealing with make that impossible at this stage, and we’d rather be upfront about that than make promises we can’t guarantee.
In the meantime, we hope our refund policy can help reduce the losses for users who feel the platform no longer meets their needs right now. If you decide to request a refund, we completely understand and respect that choice.
If you would like a refund, please email support@tunee.ai with your Tunee registration email. We will assist you from there.
*This special refund policy valid before 2026.1.14.
