Updates without a clear direction don’t build trust

Regressions in quality and functionality within this vision

After a long period of observation, it increasingly appears that Tunee’s current course is a conscious strategic decision, even if it means losing part of the existing user base. The changes in the latest update are not marginal, but rather affect key aspects of the quality and functionality of the platform. Such cuts can hardly be explained as transitional problems, but rather point to a fundamental realignment.

What is striking here is less the regression itself than the lack of a clear classification. When there is a significant change to a product, users expect a transparent explanation: why this path was chosen, what goals are being pursued and for whom the platform will be optimized in the future. Without this classification, the impression arises that feedback is perceived but no longer relevant to decision making.

This also explains why many users no longer believe in a return to the old quality or functionality. Not out of impatience, but because there are no signals yet that the loss of trust and users is viewed as a strategic risk. If you want to retain invested users in the long term, you have to offer them prospects, not just updates.

Tunee had established itself as a powerful creative tool. However, the current status leaves it open whether this goal continues to have priority or whether other factors are now more important. As long as this question remains unanswered, many will see little further waiting as worth it.

It would therefore be desirable to communicate clearly and openly where Tunee is developing, not to appease criticism, but to make trust possible again.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and in-depth perspective. We genuinely appreciate the clarity and seriousness of the concerns you’ve raised.

We understand why recent changes may feel less like incremental adjustments and more like a shift in direction. Over the past period, our team has indeed been going through a phase of structural and model-level updates, with the primary goal of improving long-term generation quality and system stability. That said, we recognize that during this process, the absence of clear communication around why certain paths were chosen and what the longer-term vision looks like can understandably affect trust.

To share some transparent context on where we are right now:

  • Music generation: We have been continuously working on improving output quality and consistency. Starting tomorrow, we will be rolling out three new music generation models, which represent an important step in this optimization cycle.
  • Video generation (Sora): We’re aware that queue congestion and generation delays have become a real issue. This is already on our radar.
  • Looking ahead: To address both quality and scalability, we are in the process of integrating some of the strongest video generation models currently available on the market, including Kling O1 and others. If things progress as planned, we expect to introduce these within approximately one month.

We agree that updates alone are not enough—users deserve clearer signals about direction, priorities, and long-term intent. Your feedback highlights an area where we need to do better, particularly in how we communicate changes and set expectations alongside technical improvements.

We truly value users who engage critically and thoughtfully with Tunee’s development. Your input has been shared internally, and we’ll continue working toward greater transparency as we move forward. Thank you again for being candid with us and for holding us to a higher standard.
