Important Update: The Evolution of Tunee

For the third day in a row, we have effectively lost the ability to create music.

What is happening now is not creation.
The results are unstable and often unacceptable.
Recent changes break previously working workflows and violate the trust of the community.

Our creative work and long-term projects are not protected.
Any sudden algorithm change destroys processes that were already functioning.

A creative tool must be stable and predictable, as Tunee was before the New Year.
If the developers want to experiment, this should be done in an optional experimental mode, not forced on all users.

For the third day, users feel like test subjects rather than creators.

Evolution? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Significant quality drop and loss of prompt control after the latest update

Hi Tunee team and community,

I’ve been a paying user for a while and absolutely loved Tunee before the recent update. It felt like a tool that gave me real creative control and consistently high-quality results.

Unfortunately, since the introduction of the new models (Mureka, MiniMax 2.0, etc.), I’m experiencing a major decline in several key areas:

- Prompt adherence has become much worse. Even with very detailed and thorough prompts specifying genre, mood, structure, and sound, the results are often completely different from what I asked for. It feels random and disconnected from my instructions.

- Overall music quality has dropped noticeably. The tracks now feel more mediocre, flat, and generic compared to before.

- Having to constantly “edit away” elements I never wanted in the first place doesn’t feel like creative freedom. It feels like extra work to compensate for the tool no longer delivering what I actually prompted.

The model sometimes responds with messages like “you’re free to edit anything you don’t like,” but that misses the point entirely. It’s like going to a restaurant, carefully ordering a specific dish, and being served a subway timetable instead — then being told “you’re free to choose which line you want to take.” That’s not freedom or good service; it’s just not delivering what was requested in the first place.

When I can no longer rely on getting results in the style and direction I intend, the whole experience loses its value for me. At this point, I’m no longer interested in continuing my subscription in its current state.

I really hope the team takes this kind of feedback seriously and works toward restoring (or improving) the precision and quality that originally made Tunee stand out.

Thanks for reading!

Your pretty dead on actually although Suno cut a deal with the lables i think last week or sometime right before christmas. There is no doubt scrambling going on among many music generative AI entities throughout the industry. I also use many generative API including previous and still currently using the “Tempolar” api of which Tunee if im not mistaken is derived from? Indeed I’m hoping to get access to the v4.5 Beta, especially if it was and “IS” the actual genertative model used in intial Tunee. But copyright and the recording industry getting involved was inevitable, especailly now SUNO has cut deals with labels and the industry. Intially they thought about fighting AI, but the recording industry is now embracing it and now just like with Crypto, AI generative content is going to be controlled and governed as well as monetized by the big entertainment conglomerates. I have been through it both personally, politically and as industry innovator/leader in the beginning of Streaming media and webcast industries and see it all over again, although this time they reacted allot faster!

Hi Tunee Team,

I wanted to share my experience as a recent user who’s been creating heavy metal music on your platform. I genuinely considered Tunee the best AI music generator on the market, but I’m compelled to address a critical quality decline I’ve noticed.

The Issue:
I’ve been generating melodic heavy metal tracks consistently until January 1st, 2026, when I had to stop creating new songs entirely. The difference in output quality is staggering compared to just a few weeks ago.

What Changed:

  • Before: Songs had “soul” - authentic galloping riffs, harmonized guitars, and that Maiden-style energy that made them genuinely usable for content

  • Now: No matter how many regenerations I attempt or how I adjust prompts, the results are consistently poor and unusable

What I’ve Tried:
I’ve spent hours tweaking parameters, rewriting prompts, and regenerating tracks, but the quality remains disappointing. It’s not a matter of fine-tuning anymore - something fundamental has changed in the generation engine.

Old version is better and new one is disgusting.

:musical_note: TUNEE USERS UNITE! Let’s Bring Back the OLD VERSION! :sos_button:

Hey Tunee Team & Community! :raising_hands:

OLD IS GOLD! The previous Tunee version was PERFECT for creators like us. Generated incredible tracks from references WITHOUT copyright headaches. Now the new version blocks references + some languages (Sinhala lyrics especially) = MAJOR frustration! :face_with_steam_from_nose:

Here’s the SAFE SOLUTION to RESTORE reference generation:

:white_check_mark: Tunee = EDITOR TOOL ONLY (like CapCut/FL Studio)
:white_check_mark: NO Tunee ownership of generated tracks or references
:white_check_mark: 100% USER responsibility for copyright claims (like every editor)
:white_check_mark: Extract ONLY: BPM, mood, energy, genre from references
:white_check_mark: Generate 100% ORIGINAL melodies/structures
:white_check_mark: User checkbox: “I handle platform claims”

CapCut lets us add ANY track → edit → export. Platforms handle claims. Tunee should do SAME. No legal risk—just restore functionality!

IMPLEMENTATION (1 month rollout):
Week 1: TOS + checkbox UI
Week 2: Reference mood extraction
Week 3: Full Sinhala language restore
Week 4: Launch!

Benefits: Happy creators. Zero liability. Pro revenue.

@TuneeTeam @Support This is the WIN-WIN solution!

RT/Comment if you want OLD Tunee back! :fire:

The saddest part is that not one single staff member hasn’t even bothered looking at any of this. They truly don’t care about what we want. I’ve seen people making topics almost hourly and either staff completely ignores it until very last second. Update btw i made a whole new project and its been failing over and over again. I am moving away from Tune Ai til they actually start taking us seriously. They have yet to respond to any of the topics.

This is a massive downgrade compared to before. I tested all the new models excluding Elevenlabs and nothing holds a candle to the old model. It makes no sense for anyone to pay 240 credits to use Elevenlabs through this; if people wanted that, they would just use the Elevenlabs platform directly

This way you lose people - not only did you remove support for covers, but you also completely ruined the Bulgarian language!! The singers sing in terrible broken Russian, Goodbye, I hope you will reconsider and return the old settings, until then I'm switching to other platforms.

Well, this is a sad day for my workflow. The latest Tunee update has completely destroyed what made it great. It’s like they took a precision tool and replaced it with a broken plastic toy.

For the last year, I’ve been using Tunee for one very specific, very helpful task: creating quick-and-dirty arrangements of my old demo recordings. You know the ones—songs recorded on a basic home studio setup, with just a vocal and guitar or piano. Tunee was brilliant at listening to those rough tracks and generating decent backing drums, bass, and atmospheric pads. It wasn’t about making a finished product; it was about sparking ideas, getting a new perspective on an old song, and having a simple rhythm track to jam along to.

It did that job well. Not perfectly, but well enough to be incredibly useful.

Now? The core generation quality has plummeted. The arrangements are musically incoherent, the sounds are generic and cheap, and the AI seems to have forgotten how to follow the original song’s vibe. It’s gone from being a helpful assistant to producing complete garbage.

The irony is painful: an AI tool designed for musical enhancement has updated itself into oblivion. The one thing I used it for is now pointless.

So, I’m out. Back to building arrangements manually, I guess. It’s slower, but at least it doesn’t sound like a robot having a stroke.

Hello, until the last update, you were the best AI music production platform, unfortunately it no longer has any meaning for me. I renewed my payment without noticing the update and only realized it had changed when I uploaded my song to use it. Tunee AI was my music producer, a platform where I arranged and prepared my songs, which I wrote and composed myself, as I wanted. It was a helper that freed a composer and gave them speed. While I expected it to improve further, unfortunately you have rendered the platform useless. With the update you made, my purpose for using it has disappeared. I request a refund of my last payment.

After the latest update, Sinhala language support is not working at all.

Lyrics are ignored or pronounced incorrectly.

Earlier versions were much better.

Please fix Sinhala and Indian language support as soon as possible.

I was about to become a subscriber next week, but after your new update, surely I will not until you go back to your old version
Tunee’s old version used to understand my prompts amazingly, but now its ridiculously generate nonsenses.
So Sad!!! wish you could hear the ppl’s comments and do something about it ASAP

This update is a disaster! The music quality has deteriorated considerably. I keep deleting my creations because the sound is so awful. What have you done? An update that results in unlistenable tracks despite elaborate prompts. I hope you fix all this as soon as possible because we pay for a service that should improve over time, not the other way around.

Karakter lama = hilang.

Identitas = kosong.

What a bummer! It would be great if TUNEE could use AI to determine, that the copyright of the music and lyrics uploaded from the users, are owned by the uploader! Or if not copyrighted by the owner yet, could determine, that it is ok to proceed to remix versions… that’ll be great! Looking foreward to this update, and I’ll definitely be back again. As for now I will stop my subscription, - sadly.

Bu çok kötü. Üyeliğimi iptal ettim.
